The AMPIPROBE Ureaplasma spp. / M. genitalium / M. hominis (UMM) Assay is a real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) assay for the qualitative detection of Ureaplasma spp. (Ureaplasma parvum and Ureaplasma urealyticum), Mycoplasma genitalium, and Mycoplasma hominis DNA. The kit uses the AMPIPROBE assay platform which takes advantage of paired fluorophore- and quencher-labeled primers specific for each of the target species as well as an internal control.
